Jamuan Iftar, Moreh & Sahur 15hb Sept 2007

Sebahagian dari penghuni RALK dan juga tetamu jemputan dari Pusat Tahfiz Linggi. Pizza yang menjadi rebutan.

Sekumpulan ibu-ibu mengumpul dana dari rakan sekerja dan rakan seperumahan untuk menganjurkan Jamuan Iftar & Moreh untuk penghuni dan pekerja RALK. Sejumlah RM1800 telah berjaya dikumpulkan melalui rakan-rakan sepekerjaan di Syarikat Penerbangan Yang Memberi Kacang Paket percuma, ahli egroup UKS dan juga dari kenalan dari Bukit Jelutong, Taman Bukit Subang dan Saujana Utama.
Rakan saya Adlina dari Saujana Utama telah dengan sukacitanya membeli ais krim potong sebagai pemanis majlis.


Menu yang menarik seperti Nasi Ayam, Sirap Bandung Bersoda, Pizza dan juga Ais Krim Potong menjadi tarikan utama. Semua makanan yang disediakan mencukupi sehingga untuk Sahur. Atas masaalah pengangkutan, penghuni perempuan berbuka puasa di asrama mereka di Tmn Bukit Puchong2. Menu yang sama telah di hantar ke asrama perempuan. Majlis ini telah dapat dijayakan dengan bantuan dari sekumpulan pelajar wanita dari Universiti Malaya yang telah menghadirkan diri secara sukarela di RALK Kg Seri Aman sejak dari siangnya untuk membantu urusan dapur.

Teacher Shafinaz tu yang berserba pink. 70% dari jumlah kutipan adalah hasil dari usaha Teacher Shafinaz. Donor lainnya termasuklah Mama Zuraini & Mama Akmar yang tidak dapat menghadirkan diri secara fizikal tetapi kehadirannya di rasai secara material.

Bikes Donated By Public

Early March 2007, the children of RALK are enrolled to the nearby Sek Agama for the Fardhu Ain classes. RALK has requested bicycles donations from RALK-friends to enable the children to cycle to Fardhu Ain classes.

Alhamdullilah with thoughtful friends all around, RALK has been able to collect 15+ used bicycles and 6 new ones.

In the picture above, En Zawawi and the RALK children are waiting for the bikes being repaired.

On Eye

GEMBIRA dan menghiburkan!. Itulah perasaan yang diluahkan sebahagian kanak-kanak kurang upaya dari Pusat Dalam Komuniti (PDK) Puncak Jalinan Kasih, Batang Kali dan anak-anak yatim dari Rumah Amal Limpahan Kasih ketika ditanya pengalaman mereka selepas menaiki buaian roda terbesar di Asia Tenggara Malaysia On Eye, di Taman Tasik Titiwangsa, baru-baru ini.

Walaupun tidak dapat menandingi ketinggian buaian roda London Eye (135 meter) di London, United Kingdom atau jambatan angkasa Menara Berkembar Petronas (170 meter), Eye on Malaysia nyata memberikan pengalaman manis kepada kira-kira 70 kanak-kanak ini.

Dengan ketinggian kira-kira 60 meter, kanak-kanak ini bukan sahaja dapat menyaksikan panorama ibu negara dalam radius 20 kilometer di sekeliling buaian roda tersebut, tetapi juga merasai sendiri menaiki buaian roda yang menjadi antara mercu tanda Tahun Melawat Malaysia 2007.

Bagi yang berkerusi roda tidak menghalang mereka untuk naik sama kerana dua buah gondola khas untuk OKU juga disediakan, terutamanya untuk kegunaan mereka yang berkerusi roda.

Turut serta merasai pengalaman menaiki buaian beroda itu ialah Penaung Pertubuhan Kebajikan Islam Malaysia (Perkim) cawangan wanita Bukit Antarabangsa, Datin Sri Anggraini Sentiya dan Pengerusinya, Datin Seri Suliza Salam, ahli-ahli Perkim serta para petugas kedua-dua pusat.

Program anjuran Perkim cawangan wanita Bukit Antarabangsa itu turut mendapat sokongan pihak Mst Ad Suria Sdn. Bhd, syarikat yang bertanggungjawab mengendalikan Eye on Malaysia sejak dilancarkan pada 6 Januari lalu oleh Perdana Menteri, Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawai.

Ditanya mengenai program yang dianjurkan, kata Saliza ia merupakan sebahagian aktiviti persatuan dalam kerja-kerja kebajikan, khusus untuk golongan kanak-kanak kurang bernasib baik.

“Kami mahu kanak-kanak ini gembira dan sentiasa berasakan mereka tidak pernah disisihkan, terutama ahli keluarga sendiri’’ ujarnya,

Selain menikmati hidangan makan tengahari, kanak-kanak turut menerima cendera hati serta wang tunai.

Started operation beginning of 2006, the orphan and needy girls took refuge in a rented corner terrace house at 49, Jalan BP 11/3, Bandar Bukit Puchong 2, 47100 Puchong Selangor.

Take exit Hicom terus drive arah Puchong on LDP.

Terus lagi … sampai on the left nampak Bandar Bukit Puchong (which is actually Bndr Bukit Puchong1) .
Then naik atas ramp to turn right then nampak pintu gerbang BBP2.
Terus lagi sampai jumpa simpang3.
Turn left dan nampak rumah teres 2 tingkat.
Sebelum sampai area rumah flat ada right turning dan ada security.
Pass over the security, simpang 3 turn left.

RALK - introduction

Rumah Amal Limpahan Kasih (Charity Home of Flowing Love) is a charity centre supporting about 61 individuals who consist of orphans, children of the poor, senior citizens and people who entitled of alms.

Besides accommodating shelters to the children, those who choose to stay in their own home also will be provided will attention and support.

Started operation beginning of 2006, the orphan girls took refuge in a rented corner terrace house at 49, Jalan BP 11/3, Bandar Bukit Puchong 2, 47100 Puchong Selangor.

It is a nice house, but the RM1000 per month rental is quite a lot to bear. Many charity activities already being organized here. Moreover, it has also become a centre for the poor and the troubled to seek help. All donations from the public had been distributed to the needy without going through the hassle and difficulties of bureaucracy.

RALK is "open" 24X7 , for there were times when the needy came as early as 2.00 am in the morning just to ask for some rice for their starving children. All the goods that we received, distributed fairly to the children in the establishment and any known needy families who stayed in their own homes. Some of these help were actually delivered right up to their doorsteps.

The boys’ shelter was opened January 2007 on a piece of land owned by the founder; consist of 5 small houses at Lot 115A, Lorong Bistari 3, Kg Seri Aman, Batu 13, 47100 Puchong, Selangor. However, the repairing and extension of the shelter is still in progress for we still yet to wait for more funding.

RALK is determined to help and bring new hopes to those who are in and less fortunate to provide physical, material and mental support that they need.

May, with RALK little lending hand, they will grow into better persons, physically & spiritually, having self esteem and mental strength more than what they thought they have and someday will become role models to those who are as less fortunate as they were, and to have the drive to help others as how they were being helped before.

Adoption / ScholarshipRALK also encourage individuals or corporate bodies to adopt these children, only by sponsoring their school transportation fee, daily pocket money and tuitions fees on a minimum cost of RM200.00 per month, under the program of “One Orphan for One Family”.

However, any adopted child will be staying in RALK.

Renovation & Maintenance Sponsorship:
There are still a lot of repairing, extensions and improving need to be done for these hostels, therefore we will be very happy to accept any sponsorship in the form of material, cash or even manpower for these listed works :-
Painting, Tiling, Pavement to the compound, Repairing of roof & ceiling, Awnings, Landscaping, Fencing, Drainage system, Water tank.

Volunteers :
RALK welcome any type of volunteer works for the shelter.
